18th October 2021 – 4th edition of the European Paper Bag Day

Also this year, to celebrate an important anniversary such as the European Paper Bag Day, Saccarta has decided to support its municipality of Lentate sul Seveso through a project on recycling called “From paper to paper”. The project, which will involve all schools in the area, both primary and secondary school for a total of about 1,200 students, is aimed at raising awareness from an early age on the importance of recycling and on the differentiation between clean and dirty paper.
This project is a continuation of last year’s initiative, in which the municipality of Lentante sul Seveso, in partnership with Saccarta, had distributed to its citizens paper bags depicting the most significant places in the area and containing bins for the collection of used oils. This year Saccarta continues a cultural and environmental journey, however, focusing on the citizens of tomorrow, with the goal to educate them from an early age to virtuous behaviors in respect of the territory. The paper bag is therefore confirmed as a great ally for environmental protection and a useful tool to deliver messages of respect towards our ecosystem.
